Cynthia Delaney has been photographing nature, wildlife, and travel imagery for over twenty years. Cynthia was raised in rural northwestern Nevada where her love of nature and western lifestyle was inspired by many years of riding horseback through open sage and back road journeys with her parents and two brothers. Cynthia continues to explore the great outdoors and cultural presence of the West. Her travels have also taken Cynthia to the far corners of the world with recent expeditions to Ecuador and Norway. Cynthia's work has been widely used in a variety of publications and exhibits and she has received several prestigious awards for her photography. Her images and writing have appeared in Bugle, Country Magazine, Montana Magazine, Montana Outdoors, Nature Photographer, Nevada Magazine, Reptile Magazine, Range, Writer's Journal, and many other editorial and advertising sources. Her work is currently represented by The Image Finders, Photo Agora, and Timecast stock agencies. Cynthia attended the University of Alabama where she received a degree in creative writing with minors in art and anthropology. She later attended New England School of Photography where she earned a degree in Applied Photography. Aside from her freelance photography career, Cynthia holds positions as Photography Instructor at Great Basin College and is pursuing a Master's degree through Lesley University in documentary photography.
