Panabaj, Guatemala

In October of 2005, Hurrican Stan caused mud slides that buried the village of Panabaj, Guatemala. Approximately 1,400 people died while they slept. Recovery of must of the victims was impossible and the entire village has been designated a mass grave. the survivors, most of them displaced, struggle to carry on. Many have lost their entire families in the disaster.
